The Award-Winning REFLECT360 Cycling Jacket is the world's first to be designed using a 100% reflective outer-shell. The globally best-selling jacket's high-quality material is designed to look and feel great while keeping the weather out. The reflective capability of the material helps other road users to identify a cyclist's position on the road at night, giving them extra time to react and maneuver appropriately. The REFLECT360 jacket incorporates multiple vents—front, shoulder/back, and underarm. This allows the user to regulate body temperature. By opening the front zipper vents a "through-flow" is achieved. The air enters the front vents, cools the body, and exits via the shoulder/back vents. During the winter, the vents can be closed and are designed to also be used as extra pockets, if required. These features enable the jacket to be used all year round. The new Nightrider jacket from Proviz combines the much-loved and highly effective retro-reflective REFLECT360 material with a high-spec super visible, waterproof, and highly breathable fabric to offer a complete day/night combination for all-year cycling. Highly breathable (10,000 gm/24hr) material keeps you at your own optimal temperature, and excellent waterproofing (10,000mm) ensures you'll stay dry but any excess moisture will be able to easily escape. We have used the same material as our world-renowned REFLECT360 range. The material has been strategically positioned on the jacket to give the maximum amount of retro-reflection. Once long ago, wool was the material of choice for cycling clothes and other active clothing. In the 80s, synthetics began to replace wool because they were new and shiny and stretchy and you could sublimate flashy, detailed graphics onto them which was a nifty thing for teams and shops. Even while synthetics enjoyed their era of dude-holding-the-bong popularity, however, wool did not die off. It still offered some really great features, like great moisture control and a resistance to putrescent reek. Our jerseys are an excellent example of wool done well. We've tried hard to produce something we hope will become your favorite piece of cycling clothing. Our long sleeve jerseys are made from medium-weight Merino wool. Merino fibers are soft and non-irritating even on sensitive skin. The fabric weight makes them suitable for cool weather to cold weather. They have a high collar to help keep the cold out and the warm in, and feature long body and long sleeves. The sleeves have reinforced thumb holes to help make sure they stay all the way down as you ride. Like our short sleeve jerseys they feature a full length zipper and a reinforced rear pocket with zippered access on both sides.
