2013 Trek Fuel EX 7

There's a reason why Trek's Fuel EX is highly regarded in the eyes of the mountain bike world; it rips! Trek's aluminum frame is done right with an E2 tapered head tube, balanced geometry, and excellent stiffness throughout. For suspension, Fox and Trek teamed up to create their awesome 130mm-travel DRCV fork and shock. The squish is paired with Trek's ABP rear end and Full Floater linkage design that keeps your rear suspension fully active and in control even when you're braking over bumps. So you can navigate the trickiest of lines, the EX 7 sports Avid brakes, a Shimano drivetrain, and tubeless-ready Bontrager wheels and tires.

I had this bike for a month now, I got it on father's day from my wife and son. I used it 36 miles each week over rugged terrain, deserts, flat roads hills and it just runs so great. It's performance overcomes my expectations. Great work Trek.

    Comments:

I've been road riding and Mountain biking for about 20 plus years. I've owned an Ellsworth Truth for 3 years...I've banged the heck out of GT's and Specialized etc. This Bike ROCKS!!! Stiff laterally...Plush and compliant. I love everything about this bike BUT the brakes..they work better then average on power..but have brake drag no matter how they are setup. No matter what the bang for the buck this bike is AWESOME!!!! RUN DON'T WALK TO YOUR TREK DEALER!!!!

After replacing the seat with a gel type the bike rides great. I also replaced the tires with the Kevlar type. This is a comfortable bike to ride. I am very happy with it.

THIS BIKE HELP ME CAPTURE THE CITIZEN CLYDESDALE CLASS POINTS LEAD IN THE WISCONSIN OFF-ROAD SERIES!!! VERY QUICK AND EXTREMELY AGILE. THE ONLY BAD THING ABOUT THIS BIKE IS THE FRONT BRAKE. IT'S WAY TO POWERFUL, I'VE BEEN THROWN OVER THE BARS NUMEROUS TIMES.

This bike ceases to amaze me. The better that i become the better the bike performs. I wasnt sure of a duel suspension bike but after hitting the trails with this bike i will never want anything less. Shocks are easy to lock/unlock on the fly and the bike is always ready for anything ahead on the trail! Youll love it too everyone that rides mine does.

it handles great no matter where you are and the suspension is fantastic. It absorbs all your hits, shifts really fast, good components, and is great for the price you pay.
