Pearl Izumi's X-Project 2.0 MTB Shoes let you enjoy a whole new world of efficiency, speed and comfort. Whether you're riding the trail, racing cyclocross or hiking and running, the 2.0s are ready for action with supportive and durable uppers with excellent ventilation, EVA foam heel pads for cushioning, and seamless toe boxes that flex just right. Plus, the Boa lacing system delivers a custom fit and makes quick adjustments a breeze. And, for top performance, there are unidirectional carbon plates inside the soles that maximize your pedaling power while flexing enough for comfortable walking and running, too. You also get grippy rubber treads over hollow lugs for exceptional traction with no weight penalty. And, Pearl's 1:1 Insole System with Total Tune Performance Inserts for added efficiency and comfort.
In lieu of standard Velcro straps, these shoes use the innovative Boa lacing system. The micro-adjustable Boa dials and wire laces evenly distribute pressure for a custom fit, maximum comfort, excellent pedaling efficiency and even hot-spot prevention. Plus, the dials are easy to use and rebuildable.
